  • Hi Guest - Did you know?

Called "Honey" and "Baby" Two Days Ago At McDonalds

My money pays her wages every time I go grocery shopping. She should not be so familiar with me or anyone else.

Your sphincter needs to be loosened up. You are taking the talk way to seriously from a cashier.

Well, this thread devolved quickly. All we need is Godwin's Law and this thread is ready for closure.

All of you are Nazis!!!!!!

I did think I saw a little mo under your nose in the post current pics thread max.....

Like you pay her directly? Get a grip.

I would never disrespect her by calling her 'babe' or 'honey'. She should not disrespect me by calling me 'hun'.

I have a grip. She doesn't.

That's my opinion. I'll keep my mouth shut now.

I don't see the problem? It's just a term of endearment, especially common among older people and in the South. There's this guy at the clinic I work at. He calls me "son" or things like "my boy Mike here." I am obviously not his son, but he just calls me that. I also get called "hijo" (Spanish for "son") by random Spanish-speaking staff members. I don't mind at all.

In a world filled with so much rudeness, I like the terms of endeament. It's friendly.

Like you pay her directly? Get a grip. If you guys have a problem with it why don't you just go tell these old ladies yourself instead of bitching about it here?

Bet you'd seem like a real nice guy, telling off some lady for saying something more emotive than sir.

Calm down. It's a very light-hearted thread. You're taking it more seriously than I was.

I probably would have brushed it off, but I thought of Gsdx's thread and was meaning to add to his original thread but couldn't find it.

I get called "migito" (which loosely translates to "young male" or "little one") too by Spanish-speaking workers.

I'm technically in the south (Arizona), but not the South.

Have you ever considered that you might look very young?

PS: Your avatar is driving me cray. C-R-A-Z-Y!

It's all yours.

Li'l Bit doesn't like doing business with Yankees because they *don't* call him "sweetie," "hon," "baby," or "Beelzebub, Destroyer of Worlds, Devourer of Souls, Eternal Dark Lord of the Underworld.

You're too ugly to be called "Beelzebub, Destroyer of Worlds, Devourer of Souls, Eternal Dark Lord of the Underworld".
