hey guy's, well i just came out on facebook, i want to do this cause i don't even know half of my "friends", and might now even going to see my friends again in my life anyway... so finally i don't have to hide what i am and i'm fucking free!!!...

congratulations!

i came out waaaay before facebook, so im actually kinda curious about this move. it might actually be a pretty good idea. just 'casually' coming out like its no big deal, without having to make speeches and 'confessions' and such.

anyway, congrats again!

Congrats but the confrontational tone was likely not necessary. Either way it is your life but there may be people that are hurt by it though they accept you are gay.

Yeah your right i should have chose another way of saying it... but i highly doubt it that my "Friends" would be hurt...
 
The only issue I have with too much personal information on Facebook is too much personal information and not knowing who sends what to whom. Do you have blocks on who can read your info? Hate to see your public honesty be a deal breaker for you sometime in the future.

I first came out to close friends personally in '08, took me another 2Yrs to come ot to every body... I discovered/joined FB in '08, I didn't drop any hints on their till '09 which was posting the Rainbow Plag App & Which Position are you! Top, Btm or Vers.? App. The first major hint was when my relationship status went from "Single" to "It's Complicated", abt 3Mths after meeting my current BF it went from "It's Complicated" to "In A Relationship W/-"... Needless to say when my mother found out I had come out on FB (little does she know, I've been out on their for a good 12Mths before I told her!) She hit the roof, saying ppl will treat them, (or more likely me) as a Parraher (Social Outcast) if they found out. She recently stubbled a cross my FB Profile (but as it's set to private, she can't see much) & demanded I take the profile pic. of me "& some other man" down immediately!

Then she went on the usual spiel abt employers now checking FB, yadda yadda yadda blah blah blah...
 
If I have to find out something important I didn't know about one of my friends on Facebook, I don't consider them a friend, sorry. Facebook outing seems like a cop out to me.

But Yay for you either way. I hope it turns out as you hope it does.

Congratulations. I want to come out to my friends on facebook and most of my facebook friends are my high school classmates (c/o 2010). And they don't know im bisexual.

And i think they might be suspecting something now because i have been adding a lot of sexy cute guys lately. Lol
 
Its so much easier on facebook, altho when I did it everyone thought I was joking lol
