Not to impose on your thread but I have a rather funny story about how I came out to my mom:

So I was about 17 or 18 with no internet or means of getting porn. One day I got one of those men's workout mags and saw all the ads in the back for those Vista Video movies. I managed to send a money order out to them for one of their movies to be delivered in the evening when my mom was out.

It arrived at 2 in the afternoon

I was in my room when I hear my mom say "WHAT?" I went out and she and the delivery person had opened the package and our neighbor (elderly man) had come over to see if it was his package (apparently they've delivered wrong before) so he saw what was in the box too. My mouth was hanging open and my mom, the delivery guy, and the old man all stared at me. "Uhh ma there's something I need to tell you" The two guys left faster then I've ever seen anyone leave. She was cool about it and we had a good laugh about the whole situation.
 
I recently came out to my mother as well. I told her on black friday. I was planning on letting it go until after the holidays, but at the age of 23, I've been married for 3 years and have a 2 y/o son, and my parents have been noticing that I've been really depressed and anxiety-ridden in the past few weeks, and I've been fighting with my wife a lot. Well, I finally broke down and told my mom, and being the religious zealot that she is, I'm surprised she took it as well as she did. I have both of my parents' undying support and I have since moved back in with them until I can get settled into a new place. It always feels better to be able to be yourself around those you love. Now it's on to finding Mr. Right...
