He has two Iron Cross tattoos and one SS Bolts tattoo. However, his reasons for the tattoos may not necessarily be racist. The Anti-Defamation League offers these explanations:

SS Bolts:

The SS bolts are typically used as a symbol of white supremacy but there is one context in which this is not necessarily always so. Decades ago, some outlaw biker gangs appropriated several Nazi-related symbols, including the SS bolts, essentially as shock symbols or symbols of rebellion or non-conformity. Thus SS bolts in the context of the outlaw biker subculture does not necessarily denote actual adherence to white supremacy. However, because there are a number of racists and full-blown white supremacists within the outlaw biker subculture, sometimes it actually is used as a symbol of white supremacy. Often the intended use and meaning of the SS bolts in this context is quite ambiguous and difficult to determine.

Iron Cross:

In the United States, however, the Iron Cross also became one of several Nazi-era symbols adopted by outlaw bikers, more to signify rebellion or to shock than for any white supremacist ideology. By the early 2000s, this other use of the Iron Cross had spread from bikers to skateboarders and many extreme sports enthusiasts and became part of the logo of several different companies producing equipment and clothing for this audience. Consequently, the use of the Iron Cross in a non-racist context has greatly proliferated in the United States, to the point that an Iron Cross in isolation (i.e., without a superimposed swastika or without other accompanying hate symbols) cannot be determined to be a hate symbol. Care must therefore be used to correctly interpret this symbol in whatever context in which it may be found.

I don't think it's fair to just assume the man is racist without hearing his side of the story. Symbols have different meanings to different people. The swastika, for example, was once a symbol of unity in India, until Hitler took it and made it into something else.

Maybe Cameron just associates the symbols with biker culture and sees them as being "tough." Maybe he doesn't think of them as racist. I wish people wouldn't be so quick to judge.

Okay, so a whole lot of drama has been happening. I'll do my best to break it down.

Apparently, Cameron left a comment on the story that reported on his tattoos. Here's what he said:

Recently there has been speculation that i am a racist due to the tattoos that are on my body. specifically the iron crosses and the lightning bolts. I want to take the time to clear up any questions or confusion there may be. But first let me set the record straight.

NOT GUILTY:
The iron cross does not symbolize racism. It was actually a medal that was awarded in WW II to soldiers for bravery in battle as well as other military contributions in a battle environment. The next tattoo is the set of lightning bolts i have on my side. Although its recognition did not come until Nazi Germany adopted the symbol, Its original meaning stands for victory. That does not mean i share the same views and beliefs as they do. But i can understand that by me having these tattoos i could be placed in the same category as these individuals. Now to tell you a little about my background. i was born and raised in southwest houston...specifically an area better known as Alief. Now for those of you that don’t know, this is a predominately black area.i went to a high school where you could sit all the white kids in the school at two lunch tables. I've been around different races my whole life. I bleed just like the next man...i’m no better than any other person. I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST ANY OTHER RACES RELIGION, VIEWS, BELIEFS AND/OR CULTURE. I believe people should want to be proud of who they are and where they come from. its like they say... your a product of your environment. I feel like we are suppose to continue our race and our culture. thats why our parents teach us their values and principals, its a part of your heritage. when it comes to having kids i prefer to stay inside my race. Its nothing hateful towards any race its just what i believe. Why is that so wrong? Does that make me a racist?......

I, personally, don't agree with what he said. I can also see how people of mixed race could feel deeply hurt by his comments. I can hear them saying, "Well, my parents didn't stay inside their race, so what does that make me?" I get it. However, I don't think firing him and taking his scenes down is the best way to respond. If I didn't go out of my way to find out why his last Naked Sword scene wasn't released, I wouldn't have known any of this was going on. It's the result of people online putting pressure on the porn studios. What do these people think is going to happen? Do they think people will watch his scenes and magically be turned into white supremacists? It's silly to me.
