I don't find it self hating at all. I find a lot of asian women dating caucassian men in north america. It's common over here. Does that make them self hating? I think not. Sure I find there's been more attractive caucassians over here but I definitely am not self hating or discriminate against my race. White's tend to dominate the population over blacks/asians here, so it might seem that way.

hmmz...
i never knew asians would 'chase' after whites or that asians wouldnt go with their own race or blacks =p but im still learning of course... this just brings my mind to another perspective
well anyway, i was born and raised here in hawaii, and if you are a local, you get to experience the real multicultural society, where it is not just the tourists you see...
so... we have whites, MANY asians lol, japanese, chinese, korean, filipino, vietnamese, hawaiian, samoan, tongan... BUT
rarely did i ever see blacks...
i guess what i learned about blacks was through the tv and through music and through their culture, and i completely love it.
and i guess that saying was true for me in this case - you want what you cant have =p and there was REALLY, TRULY NO black people over here...
until recently XD i see them around taking this big ass boat that comes into the harbor every once in a while at the mall, and they are HoT...
and there was this one military family that came to my school, ooh, lord, dont even get me started on that one.

What a beautiful story... but as some have said... black and asian matches are decidedly rare.
Not to disparage anyone, but I think that many asians don't view blacks in a very favourable way... much less to say blacks of asians. It's sad but true. Interracial (straight) couples in america are by far, white-asian pairings. As seen by this census bureau report:

I have no reason to conclude that this does not carry over to the gay community. Just today, I saw a white male and an asian male couple. Alright, I'll chime in. I find it quite distrubing also that in this day in age that the LGBTQ could still base their attractions on a person's skin color. I'm not saying you should be color blind, but damn! It seems like that everytime I look up it is ALWAYS about race or ethnicity in this segment of society involving attractions. I'm not saying that the heterosexual part of society doesn't have this problem, but it seems more prevalent with you guys.
It is sort of the reason why I'm so reserved from trying to pursue anything with another guys b/c it seems that me being black always seems to matter more than my personality or other qualities. This type of mindset is down right destructive in my opinion.

Just as an FYI, a decision was made to ban Xango77 from this forum after repeated warnings. His posts were flaming and sometimes downright racist - both of which are not allowed in Coming Out & Relationships
Myself and some of the other Mods have spent a lot of time policing this thread. Its worthwhile but we have to keep it civil
So, when a post is deleted we then delete anything that was posted in relation to the offensive post. This would explain why some of your posts are now gone
I've now just deleted a few more because they contained references and quotes from Xango77's posts which we had to delete

I'm of Indian-origin, fell quite ridiculously in love with my Asian bf, lost my virginity to him, and then he dumped me for reasons that I still don't understand.
Also, my best friends are of Asian origin, and while I can't generalize, I have to say that they prefer white women (they're straight). They are not racists by any stretch, quite the contrary. But as for attraction, only white women do it for them.
Also, from what I hear, if you go to China (or Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea etc), then skin color really matters. You have a sample of this, albeit biased, when you go to an Asian chat-room. Even though the language barrier takes some effort to overcome, their preferences are clear. White skin and blue eyes. One of my online friends from China runs after white guys, one after the other, often to be disappointed.
I won't call American Asians racists, because from my experience, they are kind and open minded. I do feel, however, that they have a strong preference for Caucasians. As for Asians in Asia (talk about being redundant), issues like racism hardly even occur to them. Whites are prized boyfriend material in straight and gay circles.
So, well, sorry for my disjointed thoughts. After seemingly contradictory anecdotes, let me say this: Asians and blacks not mixing is bull-crap. My bf didn't care about skin color. Not one bit. There have to be others like him, and with a billion Asians, the odds are quite good.

Me and my boyfriend can get pretty childish by hey were college kids. The day before thanksgiving we were buy stuff for the cake I was going to make when we got in line he pulls my sweat pants down and starts laughing
and runs to the car. I yell "Your going to wish you didn't do that!!!!" while we were in the car he kept asking and asking when I was going to get him back I told him I wasn't and that I wasn't as childish as he was (lies!!!) after thanksgiving my family got ice cream and we made sundaes he didn't know that I crushed some viagra pills into his while we sat in the den watching movies I got a ice pop and started to suck on it like I would him 
two hours pass and we were on are way back to the room when he says "damn it I can't get it to go down" I start giggling and he just looks at me like I gone nuts I hands him the bottle he looked shock at first then he picks me and takes me to the bed and says that I am going to help him get it down. All in all thanksgiving was a blast in more ways then one.
