I don't know about Britney. Well, first of all to have a comeback, you have to disappear for a little while. Has Britney left anywhere? NO! Lots of people are sick of her and her antics including me, and I was a fan of hers. Second, Britney isn't exactly a great singer, she doesn't sing live. What sold her albums and tickets, was her teen image not her singing ability. Now her image is a complete wreck, she fired all her handlers, and she is turning against all the people who are trying to help her. I hope she can have a decent "comeback" someday, but it's gonna be hard for her if she keeps going down this road.

It's like some of you guys already said. She actually never left. The world is interested in her. Every step she takes, it's followed by hundreds of thousands of media & paparazzi. Good for her. Eventhough she had image problems [or still has some...] she'll be able to fight her crown back even this time. The head shaving, her stint in rehab, the whole custody drama and everything... All it needs is another tell-all interview with someone like Diane Sawyer or Barbara Walters, and she's back on track ;) So there's no need to worry for Britney fans, imo.

And from what I heard, who she's working with and what the producers are saying about her and her new songs, I have no doubt she'll claim #01 again. Timbaland, J.R. Rotem, Sean Garrett, Nate Hills, Ne-Yo, Swizz Beatz, Keri Hilson, Pharrell... She chose some really, really talented and successfull people.

So... Yeah, what more to say. I'm rooting for her... she had a bad time. Let's give her some hope.

I am very annoyed with her antics and what not but it isnt her fault that the tabloids publish them. So I guess Im annoyed at the tabloids for giving her non-stop attention. But even though the crotch flashing, head shaving, and rehab stints are very annoying... Im secretly rooting for her.
 
This would definately not be the best time for a comeback for Britney. After Paris, Nicole and Lindsay and their run-in's with the law and Britney and her antics (and divorce), I say wait a year, get your life in order and then make a great record. However, pop is pretty much dead now. Its mostly r&b and other variants.
 
She's actually working with R&B/Hip Hop producers, but whatever lol
 
No - 'fraid she's just a rotten piece of trailer trash meat now. Shame - thought 'Toxic' was rather good.
 
I really want to wish for her big comeback but it keeps looking worse and worse. She was doing fine a few weeks ago, not in the headlines as much but with this whole OK! magazine thing, she is getting bad press. Her new song also doesnt sound good, its too much technology not enough of the Britney I love. Dont get me wrong I will buy the album the 1st day an go to her tour (if she has one) but she isnt going to be as good as the old days, it seems.
 
I never really care for her music. I think her songs all sound the same.
With the bad publicity she's geting lately her new album might end up like Lindsay Lohan last movie which barely made enough money to pay for the prints.

Don't think that the people here are referring to her as 'still in the news' but her comeback in the music limelight. Frankly, I think she is doing a bad PR for herself. That look, the hair, the fashion etc - not getting her ready for her old glory. [-X

Nope, it's me. I changed my username for a while, but now it's back to jzero.

I definitely still watch Big Brother, but I'm keeping out of the BB8 threads because I'm trying to remain unspoiled. Also, I don't want to get riled up by any Kail/Jen fans or Dick/Daniele/Dustin haters. :D

This is true....Brit is trying to to do the same old sex kitten act and it's not working cause she is no longer in that stage of life---she should try a little more muture look and maybe...challenge her self as a "artist". She is no Madonna.

Just my opinion, but I don't think Jen is like Janelle at all. Janelle's beautiful, smart, funny, athletic and confident. Jen is trashy, jealous, ugly, stupid and annoying. Plus America hates her!

Daniele actually reminds me more of Janelle because she's gorgeous, outspoken and competitive. And I've read some of the things that Dick's said that haven't made it to the live show... I think they're pretty funny. :D
 
Well she hired kelly clarksons old management, so i think thats a good move. They did a great job with kelly's career so i think they can do the same for Brit. She just needs to lay low for a couple of months and then come back. Rumors are swirling about her return during this years VMA.
 
I know she will have a huge comeback everybody talks about her but she's always had awesome music. she fell off track people make mistakes and go through hard times in their lives she's only human she's sold over 75 million albums so she has a pretty large fanbase. I can't wait for her new CD !
 
SHE BLEW IT! Her career that is. Tired 'ol Britney will always be around in some form but she won't be relevent anymore. No one wants to see a deadbeat mother of two lip-syncing and dressed like a Dollar Store slut.[-X
 
Its funny how the title of the thread is, Can Britney Come Back?


Why? Because "Come Back" is the name of her first single to be released in September.
 
I said maybe she can make a come back. I think she'll end up doing something eventually, but I don't know how well it will go. If she releases another album I doubt it will go further than gold certification.
 
Im sure the album will atleast go platinum, just based on ppl curiosity and Brits hard core fans.
