Just saw this story - about a four year old who was born a girl but thinks (as of the age of 2) that she's a boy

The parents are raising her as a boy now - at age 4

The Washington Post told this story on the FRONT PAGE this past Sunday - and it has caused a bit of ruckus as you can imagine

Not sure what I would do but leaning towards keeping the sex birth until a much older age than 4

Not sure what role the govt. should play here

Your thoughts?

The patriarchs decreed that Children should be seen but not heard back in the old days.

It's all topsy-turvy nowdays, we go to the babies to do what they want.

The patriarchs were against women's right to vote, were for slavery, were prompt to burn witches, etc. Not all they did or thought was right, you know...

thinking that in the last century our society-culture has progressively destroyed all things exclusively feminine . What possible difference could there actually be raising a child "masculine" or "feminine"?

I have a 2 year old son. If one day he said he was Sponge Bob, I wouldn't put any stock in that, either.

The only thing children at 2 know for sure is how to be a "terrible two".

A two year old perfectly knows. I always knew I was M2M. All those "childhood" stories are bullshit.
