Can I be reported to Police for Xtube video?

I'm a fan of Xtube the video streaming site and yesterday uploaded my first three vids, all of persons stripping in front of their webcams. These vids need to pass Admin scrutiny first, so imagine how distressed I am to receive a message from Xtube to say that they believe one of the persons in one vid to be underage - they have classed it as depiction of a minor - and state that they report all such instances to Police. As far as I am aware the person, who I don't know personally, was over 18 however Xtube have decided that this is not so, and have banned the video.
Anyone know if Xtube carry out their threats to inform the authorities, and am I likely to be in trouble given that the vid was of someone I believed to be over 18 and have no proof of age or identity to show that this is correct? I don't want to be labelled a child pornographer when this was not my intention.
Can anyone give me good advice?

And how do they know the person seems underage? To be honest i doubt you can tell the age by looking at some crappy webcam video.

Have the stripper in question contact XTube and verify their age, assuming, of course, you had their permission before submitting them.

I think the lesson here is not to upload vids that aren't yours thus you wouldn't be able to verify ages.

If you took the video yourself of the girls stripping then there's a chance you may be in some trouble but you'd need to get proper legal advice, rather than a porn board

They may report you to the police to protect themselves but they probably supply a large list of other suspect vids at the same time. I'm sure there are a lot of borderline cases and because they cant check age they dont chance it.You'll probably go on a database with a million or so others and unless you repeatably show up in the lists, nothing may happen. as stated above you shouldnt be putting these up without the others permission and remember even if they tell you that they are 18 they may not be, how are you really to know. I take it you didnt read their FAQ's Making and Uploading Photos & Videos the 2nd 8 part. The police would be very busy chasing every one off offender , I'm sure.

judging from the amount of content and the questionable ages of the female models; i bet the admins only check the gay stuff for underage models.

I think the best advice would be to not upload vids of people who you don't know since if you don't know them you can't know their ages. If you want to take vids i suggest you take them of people you know so you can ask the age. That way you won't get in this trouble.

I can not speak for XTube but if they say they report suspect vids to the police then I would say they would do that...however, having said that they would also have to supply your details which would include your email address and possibly IP address...but my suggestion would be to respond to the email they sent and advise them that as far as you are aware the person was over the age of 18 at the time the video was made and that under the circumstances that what they have done is the right thing...but reiterate that as far as you are aware the person was over the age of 18 and even list the webcam site that you captured the video from...it cant hurt to email them an acknowledgement.

But in future...if there is any doubt in your mind then DONT capture the video.

I found photos of a girl who kept getting them deleted from other services for being too young. Funny thing was, she was a 24 year old prostitute in Kentucky. She shaved her crotch and had no tits to speak of.

I dated a girl once who looked all of 12 years old. I knew she was at least 18 because we were in the same unit in the Army. Must be 18 or older to enlist To give you an idea, she and I got kicked out of a club once because they thought she was too young.

Ive had xtube delete my own videos that I created in my bedroom with the same explanation - "sexual depiction of a minor". After some arguing back and forth, they said I had to sign up for a paid amateur account that req's docs to be mailed in. BLAH. Fuck that.

If you READ the upload form, you're only to upload content that you personally created or content you have written permission from the creator to do so. You also agree to provide all age related docs for 2257 purposes.

If youre uploading videos of young looking people without their consent - um yeah, you should be shaking in your boots. I hope the cops bust down your door!
