I have received a few of those pervy messages myself, also from those same members with zero threads/posts. After the "Yeesh!" factor wears off I'm always wondering why? They don't know me, they don't know what I look like but there they are. :confused:

I mean ... if you got identitical messages from two different strangers ... like some Hot Young "Thang", that pushes all your buttons ... or someone more like me (older, grayer, etc.) ... would one be considered more "enticing", while the other more "pervy"?? Just a thought ... :badgrin:

I have (absolutely) no aversion to flirtatious PMs from people on the board. It's when someone I've never had a rapport with and have even openly disagreed with on several occasions sends me a pervy PM, that I feel grossed out.

I can see your point, but in my case pictures are very few and far between. And I know I've never posted anything that would cause someone to objectify me. But there they were. :confused:

its a weird thing

maybe we are all taking this waaaay too personally

maybe theres liek one guy sending all of these things and he figures ... hell theres 10 thousand of them, odds are one of them is going to say yes eventually

maybe he doesnt even look at our profiles or even care what our names are

wouldnt that be wounding to our egos?
