Can I stop Face Book photos from appearing on my wall?

I was just wondering is there an on/off button on Face Book that I can use to stop the "photos" and "links" that my friends “like” from appearing on my wall?

I don’t mind my friends activities from appearing on my wall, however I do not want to see any of their "photos" and "links" that they mark as “like” appearing on my wall. :help: As I just don't want this boring garbage cluttering my wall. :grrr:

^ $10? Don't you know the love of money is the root of all evil? [-X I'll take a blow job though.

Yes, by not having an account. Facebook is a waste of time, and I'm too good for it.

...PMing you my address so you can send me that ten bucks, NA. :)

find a photo posting from the friend in question
click the drop down menu
"unsubscribe from photos by X"

you can unsubscribe from "likes" in the same manner.

I don't know if there's a blanket way to automatically unsubscribe from all photos by all friends, but it's easy enough to hide the worst offenders when they pop up.

Loki81, I don't have that option. I only have an option to "Unsubscribe from Member" or "Unsubscribe from comments and likes by Member". Which is okay, but mainly I'm only interested in the posts and photos "my friend" originates. Whereas I don't care what they say about others comments or photos. So by selecting the ""Unsubscribe from comments and likes by Member", STILL allow me to see posts and photos that my friend "originate"?

if you see the option to unsubscribe from comments/likes, you probably clicked on a comment/like

the option to unsub from photos should be there when you see one of their photo postings

Thank you very much, Loki81. That did the trick. ..| FaceBook must have changed something, because up until the last 7 days, I was not bombarded with my friends "likes" "comments" and "likes photo" before. What a stupid idea that FaceBook thinks that we want to know that much activity of our friends. UGH!!! :grrr:

I like this thread. And your last post. And your avatar. And the fact that it was the 1000th post you made on JUB. And the fact that I'm adding an unnecessary last item to this list in an attempt to wring the last bit of humor from it.

Wilson, you are not treating today's internet with enough suspicion; facebook you should approach with paranoia. Remember, today YOU are the product for sale.

The liking photos is annoying especially deformed kids or pictures of God on the cell phone or the remember this?

I usually report the accounts that are associated with the picture
