Yea! Someone mentioned I Think I Do. I absolutely love that movie. I remember seeing it when it first was in theaters and fell in love with its humor, sweetness, and romance. I so want to buy it on DVD, but it sells for $30. I'm struggling with spending that much on a DVD that is not a tv series.

A Home at the End of the World was just on LOGO and has Colin Farrell in a bisexual role, but it's still very romantic. La Ley del Deseo (The Law of Desire) is a good one from Pedro Almodóvar, and has a young Antonio Banderas.

Burnt Money is an excellent movie from Argentina, that is both romantic and suspenseful, somewhat in the same way that Bound was for lesbians.

Sommersturm is easily my favorite movie (not just my favorite gay movie). It's more of a coming-out movie than a romance, but I would recommend it to anyone (and have several times).

I couldnt agree more. It was so random how they just out of nowhere just started having sex. There was really no flirtation. Nothing leading up to it.The only reason it isnt completely jarring is that because of all the hype we know they are gonna get together. It's kinda insulting that is lauded as this great love story like gay love=fucking because its cold outside the tent.

Sommersturm is good. The best gay movies are foreign, Shelter is the only American gay movie I've liked.

I don't hate it but like you said it is so obvious that is a bunch of straight guys trying to play gay. American movie actors dont really go for it when playing gay. I don't expect a porn but they are supposed to act.

Rant over. Now I think Shelter is the greatest gay romance.

I too liked "Broken Hearts Club" and I couldn't care less if an actor is or isn't gay as long as their performance is such that I can believe in the character - and if the acting isn't the greatest then at least make the story interesting or funny enough. I see gay actors play straight all the time and it doesn't bother me ... guess that's why they call it acting.

I actually quite like that film as well, though it's kind of a slightly better movie-version of Noah's Arc with white people. lol

I'd love for someone to write something similar to that film but better (might end up doing it myself).

Well this one starts out with the couple already a couple, but it is charming nonethess, and very funny.

Friends and Family is about a gay couple who happen to be enforcers for a mafia boss. One of the partners' parents think they run a catering business and pay them a visit.

One of the two partners is played by Greg Lauren (nephew of Ralph Lauren) who has the rugged good looks that we (partner and I) thought made him an ideal candidate to play James Bond - except he's American.
