Bradley group showers still standing strong at UW-Whitewater

Of course, in some cases, survivors are survivors because they haven't been used much in the last 30 years. (Although I'd guess the ones in this article do see use, since they are used in aquatics.)
I remember one high school pool that had community access times once. For a period one summer, the locker room was closed and they had us use the locker room in the main gym, which had pole showers. The shower area was obviously older installation (with poles), but had aged much better than I'd have expected. I suspect it's because (as I said above) the showers see little or no use.
The last ad shows the interesting double standard in our society. The females are supposed to need modesty, and get the poles with curtains. The guys aren't supposed to care, and thus don't get curtains.
A pool where I swam once had the wall showers in the bottom of the ad. That design made it a bit easier to check other guys out than regular showers. One time, I was showering there, talking to some other guy. Suddenly, he just looked down at my dick. That is one of the few times I've caught someone looking, and it was probaly the most blatant look of those times!
