Back in my day, body shaving was NOT a thing.
During my first quarter in college, I experienced appendicitis. A male orderly shaved me from nips to knees, before surgery.
(I managed not to get a boner. It was "good luck" I was sick!)
After that, I looked like a prepubescent tadpole in the dorm communal showers. I was also the shortest ...
Lots of ribbing from all the guys.
(Being dorm president seemed to make it worse! HA!)
