Well, can you ?

Try Green Giant frozen vegetables !

(Sweet Lord ! Will someone please get off the couch and turn off my TV ?!!) #-o

Yes! I love Green Giants broccoli in light 3 cheese sauce. The whole bag, which I believe is 6 servings, is only 270 calories, 45 a serving. I eat the entire bag. Add a piece of lean meat, and you have a very filling meal for probably under 500 calories. Of course, you don't have to eat the entire bag. ..|

500 calories is waaaaay to many.

If you're planning on eating about 2,000 calories in a day, 500 for a meal seems pretty light to me. Well maybe not light, but just about right. Especially if it's your big meal of the day.

And I'm not sure about the sauce either. I guess as long as it's not a sugary sauce, it's good. I'm eating low glycemic load foods, so I would be avoiding sauces with sugar, but not minding cream or cheese. Not that I am a big cream or cheese eater, but it could be good on some broccoli.

Weight Watchers and Lean Cuisine do very good diet meals. A lot of them have cheesy or tomato sauces, which while very watered down, are excellent.

Warning, you won't feel full after eating them, so drink a lot of water. ;-) You can lose weight while eating anything. You just have to eat less of it, and exercise.
