Probally a stupid question, but is it possible to give yourself an STD?

No, you can't give yourself something that you don't have in the first place.

The answer will depend on how one interprets your question.

Aussieguy's reply is the immediate rational answer.

We should also appreciate that there are gay men who identify as so called bug chasers who deliberately, of their own volition contract a sexually transmittable infection by engaging in sexual relations with an infected partner.

Irrational behaviour is also part of the human condition.

The old joke: Can you get an STD from a toilet seat? Yes, but a bed is more comfortable.

It is possible for you to transfer infections from one part of your body to another. So, for example, you could have a urinary tract bacterial infection that you transmitted to your throat, your eyes, etc.

I would not refer to any transferred infections such as uti's and the like as STD's, I would refer to them as a lack of hygiene or careless actions. What are you doing to think you would be transferring a uti to your throat  wash your hands and you will be fine ..|

Yes another example is a staph (MRSA) infection where the bacteria frequent the inside lining of the nose and as a carrier you don't get a infection however if you nick your face when shaving and it comes close to where the bacteria are hiding at the nostril..BAM! you exposed yourself to what you were carrying harmlessly but now you get the infection.
Or if you put your finger to your nose and itch but a few minutes later you are itching a mosquito bite raw and there you go once again.

If the answer if yes, I would be so worried right now.

No I don't think so but I've heard cases of males getting UTI through weird complications.
