Picasso could have died at 39 and be no less Picasso... maybe his work, for all its richness as it stands now, would be less tiresome in some respects, and you can bet he would then be even more idolized (too often mindlessly so) than he is now.
The other ones, except maybe for Sam Fuller (Boris Karloff is beyond this stupid thread), are as good and relevant examples as your grandpa next door.

I have a rather good prophecy in that regard in the form of my Grandfather: looking over old photographs of him at my age, it amazes me beyond belief just how similar we are facially.

Not a bad thing: he's a very spry and good looking man for an eighty year old

That's right, that's why talking about him concerning his age is, like in the case of Picasso, secondary or simply meaningless. For BK it was more like WTF.
