Can you sleep with your head under the covers?

Impossible! I need to be able to see the room as soon as I open my eyes at any strange noise. I need to have the sheets wrapped around my neck to stop me feeling vunerable.

It is only in recent years I have actually managed to fall asleep without a light on. Mind you if the room is absolutely black and I am unable to see even the outlines of the murderer creeping up on me I have to return to switching the light on.

Plus I require the door to the bedroom closed and locked.

I know this is more information than you asked in the original post; but it is a long time since I posted anything so I am over compensating. :D

How many times have the sheets saved you from the creeping murderer? :p

I'm curious about how you developed this fear. Is it life long back to childhood? Is it a frequent occurance?
Could you somehow change him from someone who wants to murder you into someone who wants to molest you?:badgrin:
 
No, especially not when I fart.
 
Oh yes! I love making a cocoon with the covers, especially in these colder months. Yet in the summer, I sleep with nothing on and my limbs sprawled in every direction. I look like a human "X".
 
I can't fall asleep without covering most of my head (especially my ears), but I do leave my face exposed so I can breathe. I also sleep with a night light.

Oh Gawd, nó way!
I'd just burn up from the inside really.
I'm a human furnace, I'm always warm. (If you ever need a living and breathing electrical blanket I'm your man! ;) )

Up to my chin in cold weather (= close to freezing), and somewhere halfway down my body for the rest of the year is good enough for me, really.
 
i also couldn't sleep with my whole head under cover, but depending on if it's winter or summer i am using less or more cover
 
My Sleep Apnea requires that I wear a mask called a CPAP (continuous positive air pressure), so in effect, my head is already covered before I pull up the sheet. I do not mind the cpap, in fact, cannot sleep without it. But nothing over my eyes, please.
