Only six more weeks till spring!

It has been above zero from time to time, but not that scent of spring in the air…that is still a few weeks off.

Spring from mid-april to mid-may, then a pretty reliable summer until mid-September.

Seville has views over the Guadalquivir that beat virtually ANYTHING you can see from a penthouse in Hong Kong or wherever else.

Man we are having a pollution beret over BCN right now as big and nasty as a txapela. The sky looks pretty *pun* blue ABOVE, but when you look at the Tibidabo in the distance all you see is something like a washed-out version of a washed-out Turner of his later production.

Our spring just got buried under three inches of snow. Some geese came flying in through the snow storm; from altitude they could see the ground, so they kept flying around trying to find the bay.

It's all supposed to be melted by noon.

We've been getting temperatures of 6-7c past few days, makes for slushly sloppy muck during the day which freezes and turns the roads into skating rinks overnight. Hate spring, bring on summer!

There's enough snow left to clog most of the storm drains, so we have flooded streets.

The two-week Siberian winter of early February left all trees as barren as they had never been, and the drought isn't helping them to bud either, so far all the wwarm weather you can only see some cherry trees blooming one month later than usual... so sad, sad, sad.
