So does the Geneva Convention, and as you may have noticed that's being pretty well ignored. Hell, the Constitution itself is being pretty well ignored, even under Obama.

I don't see why you think being right will make you win. That never happens. If the right side wins it's because they also were stronger, and being right does not increase your strength by one iota. In fact, behaving rightly is usually at least a slight disadvantage.

No, no, you just have to have a good enough court argument that you can keep them busy while the Canadians move the fence. No one in Maine will notice, and once it's done we KNOW the Republicans aren't going to try to get Maine back, because it will have been filled with <shudder> MARRIED SAME-SEX PEOPLE!!!

The Great Wall wasn't meant to keep out invaders. It was meant to slow them down so troops could respond to an incursion.

And it really is silly to work at tightening the border with Canada while working on talks designed to loosen things there and increase "joint perimeter" security.
