Today, Carly Rae was kicked, as I'm writing this, she's singing 'White Flag' for the last time on the stage.

My question is, who do you think will win? Brian or Jaydee, Rocker or Country.

There's only a week to comment, so please do so.

Wow. Is Canada watching the same show I'm watching? These two out of that entire group this season? Ok.

Brian is more talented (but that's not saying much) but Jaydee has the fan girl vote.

Brian should win but Jaydee will. He was the only contestant to not make the Bottom Group all season and he's had a couple horrid performances that should have sent him there.

If I had my way, Martha Joy and Greg Neufeld would have made it here, or at least Carly Rae Jepson could have beaten out Jaydee.

Brian is pretty good, but isn't the best. He's an entertainer above all else, that's what got Dwight so far. Jaydee is good, and with some vocal training he could become big. But in my opinion, he's far too inexperienced with music. I'm thinking it can go either way, mostly because people tend to vote for who's better in the finale,(just noticed the spelling error now) because otherwise they have to deal with a not that great singer for several months.

It really depends where Carly Rae's fans shift their votes and if Brian close enough to overtake Jaydee with the bulk of those votes.

Sadly, I do believe that Jaydee is going to win. Not because he is good. The boy can not sing a song without a country twang in his voice. That to me (and dont diss me for my opinion), is not talent at all. The twang in every song he sings is going to be his downfall.

At the point where the winner has to sing and record the new "idol song" that will be released, Im not sure whoever penned the song planned a country twang to it, so we will have to wait and see. Will all these teeny bopper young girls buy his albums? Perhaps. But there is not a big country singer fan base in Canada, outside of Alberta, as far as I know. Name some famous canadian country singers of our time. Terri Clark is the only that comes to mind right off the hop. Oh and Tommy Hunter, hehe.

Brian Melo should win this competition as he is, in fact the better singer of the two. But In my opinion, Carley Rae should have been the one to take it all! She just has the better voice and talent of the three. It was sad to see her go. However, lets not forget that Jacob Hogart of Hedley was voted off third in his season and his band is pretty damn successful now. Hopefully Carley Rae will not fade into obscurity the way so many past idol singers who were really good have.

So we will have to wait and see next week who wins this competition.

I have to say though, that out of the hundreds of people that competed to be on this season's show, I think that the judges did not do a very good job. They must have been really really tired by the time they picked the top 22.

Cheers!

Guys, I believe your forgetting a key member of the top 10 who didn't make it this far, Greg Neufeld. He's talented, and he was envied by Enrique for his voice. And there is also Martha Joy. She was excellent, and then Matt Rapley is good, just needs to bring it out more. Jaydee can sound good at times, like when he done Walk the Line by Johnny Cash, he looked really mature(except for the feet thing).

The thread doesn't have the outcome of responses as I hoped, but I guess it's pretty good. Anyway, only 4 more days till the outcome, and right now it's 50/50.

i hope jaydee wins
so he gets stuck with that nasty ass contract

i know i'm just evil
but the kid just weirds me out.

I know what you mean, he's too happy all the time. I'll bet he has some deep dark secret that will come out in a few months.

nope he's too nice

weird little fuck,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

meh... don't like either of them too much... can i vote for Kalan Porter again?? haven't really seen any good canadian idol since he was on it...

I was actually planning on putting in a third option saying "Screw em both, Neufeld should have won", but figured it wouldn't be all that effective.

Anyway, performances are tomorrow, and the decision is on Tuesday. Tune it to CTV at 9 PM Eastern time tomorrow, and 8 PM on Tuesday, to catch everything. On the results show, they'll have Avril Lavigne, Eva Avila and Bon Jovi as special guests.

i thought the americans got it wrong
but damn we so fucked up this year....................

and judges pimping him all the time
is so fucked
change the fucking judges.

here's my canadian idol
another loser
another year canada got it wrong

Everyone Attention. If You Are Reading This You Are Missing Canadian Idol!!!

And the Canadian Idol of 2007 is..... Brian Melo.

So do you guys agree or disagree????

I agree with Canada's vote on this one. I voted numerous times after Monday's show. As I was not a big fan of anyone on this season, I think that I would have liked Carley Rae to win. But Im glad it was Brian too. He is good and will sound great on the radio.

Is there really any loser in this thing anyway....the top three are touring together as a collective this fall anyway. So one person gets to put out a record quicker than the others.....

Well so much for 2007. I hope 2008 brings better contestants.

Oh ya, and did anyone notice Will and Grace's Eric McCormick in the audience last night....Good for him for coming home and cheering on the Canadian talent!!

Cheers and thanks for starting this thread.

See ya next year!
