I would have really liked if the top 10 had toured together, because Martha Joy and Greg Neufeld are both great singers.
 
Last year's winner performed and was asked what advise she'd give to this year's winner. What she didn't say was far more telling than what she did. Idol is like a franchise, doesn't matter the country, the winner will be treated the same way. Yes there's money to be made but you sign over creative control to do so.
 
I picked Brian right after he did the song "Angels". He was great throughout. I think JayDee will do alright. Congrats to them both.
 
Wow. Easily the worst season of Canadian Idol. And that's saying a lot. Canadian Idol isn't very good. They always seem to eliminate the good people. And they did this year. Carly Rae and Greg should have been the final 2.

In my opinion, this season of CI has to rank in the Top 5 Worst Idol seasons.
 
Sorry Canada but you guys vote weird, you guys always pick the right one out of the final two to win but your elimination process is f-ed up. Anyways, Australian Idol puts American AND Canadian Idol to shame :P
 
I call bull. Our elimination process makes sense, have the people vote for their favorite, AKA the point of Canadian Idol. What do you guys do, let the judges pick?

And i really think the judges should have a greater input... i don't know... some how give them greater powers at least...
 
Actually, he was the 2nd. The lead singer of Low Level Flight, Ryan something, won the first time around.
 
Ryan Malcolm. Had a hit with the 1st Canadian Idol single and fell into obscurity until he showed up on the finale with a band trying badly to sing alternative rock.
