Hi. I recently got a new phone and it doesn't give me the option to play video clips like my old phone did. I can also still view on my laptop. Is there a thing on my phone I need to adjust?

Thanks

I moved your question to the Tech forum since it's more likely to be a phone setting than a JUB issue.

A few things that might help:
  1. What kind of phone?
  2. Are you having issues with videos on all sites or just on JUB?

Thanks. I have a Samsung A8. It seems that the issue is just with videos on JUB.

We have two different types of videos that are posted in the forum-
  1. Linked videos (e.g. pornhub) that are a url that will take you to that site where the video should play
  2. Embedded videos (e.g. YouTube, Instagram). Those should play on JUB.

It is the YouTube embedded videos that won't play? I want to make sure that I describe the issue correctly to the site admins.

Thanks for the link. That video is an older video from 2014 that using an Adobe Flash player (flowplayer).

I think newer iPhones are blocking Flash.

I'll open a request with the tech admins and see if there's a way for these older videos to play on newer phones.

Hi. The video plays correctly on desktop and iphone. Flash is not required to play the videos. There have been issues with some Chrome updates on Samsung mobile devices in the past playing videos correctly. You might check to make sure your version of Chrome is updated. If so, please try an alternate browser. If you still have trouble, please submit a support ticket here.
