Ok so I don't know why it took me this long to mention this but I've always had issues with pulling back my foreskin. I can only go a small distance before it really starts to hurt

It's actually restricted me from topping during sex since I've always been afraid of it hurting when I put my dick in, and when a guy is masturbating me he also has to go easy as it can hurt when he pulls the foreskin too hard (and I find it quite embarrassing for some reason asking a guy to go easy)

Is there anything I can do to solve this issue?? Or am I permanently unable to pull my foreskin back?

Hard to say for sure without a physical, but, based on your description, sounds like you have phimosis. It is a fairly common issue. Whatever you do, do not attempt to retract the foreskin any further: it could get stuck below the glans. There are many treatments for this. Definitely consult your doctor. He/she will most likely refer you to a urologist. Steroid creams combined with stretching can work. There are also some minimally invasive surgical procedures that can be done should the medical treatment not work. But, definitely, consult. If it is indeed phimosis, they may talk about circumcision. If so, you can seek another opinion. It is not the only treatment option. It is usually not difficult to treat and definitely not an emergency. Just don’t pull the skin back!
Hope this helps.
Best of luck!

I was with a guy that has your same issue. I didn't realize it until I was sucking him and pulled back on his dick, he let out a yell and said I cant pull back like that or it hurts too much. Same thing when I would jack him off, I really had to be gentle with him. I like to get my tongue under or inside his foreskin but he just couldn't . I guess its not that uncommon. I don't really have any advice just thought you might like to know others have experienced it and try to feel bad about it. Just let the other guy know so you can work with it and not be embarrassed or afraid of getting hurt.

Thanks guys, I'm still a little embarrassed about telling my doctor, or even a friend about this. Have read about adult circumcision and my main concern is pain, and other men have said that steroid creams (which thin the foreskin) are only a temporary solution as eventually the foreskin thickens again and you're back to square 1.

Up in the Sticky section, there's a thread called "All About Penises" that has some information about phimosis, frenulum breve and some threads where members posted about their experiences with steroid creams and in some cases circumcision.

Without an exam, it is difficult to know whether the problem is a scar ban restricting your foreskin, a short frenulum or just a tight foreskin/foramen. Your first place to start is a urologist. They can tell you whether it's something that can be treated non-surgically or whether it's something that would require surgery.

Good responses! Very informative. I've been with a few uncut guys who had the same issue and had to teach me how forceful (or not) I could be. Kash, if you are hestitant to discuss with your doctor, my advice is find a gay doctor! It makes a huge difference. Not always possible depending on where you live, but gay friends or a local community website may direct you to the right person. I found a gay doctor through referrals by friends when I moved to a new major city. Incredibly liberating to be able to discuss anal sex, body piercings, all kinds of issues that straight doctors and their straight patients probably never give a second thought. Find someone you can talk to and then work through the foreskin problem. This is important. We all want and deserve a satisfying, physically pleasurable sex life.

My second BF was very much like you, and his dick tasted AWFUL whenever I'd blow him, but that never stopped me. I was 18, and he was 26 when he got his [adult] circumcision. Well, I struck with him through thick and thin until he recovered enough to wanting to share his new penis with the world.

I cannot advise you one way or the other, as I have a "Malibu cut" (I'm half-cut and half-uncut). You need to do what's best for YOU!

You don't need a gay doctor for this. It is a fairly common problem and nothing to be embarrassed about. It has nothing to do with being gay and you need not tell the Dr. By all means, see a urologist if you are embarrassed. As the name implies, he specializes in "urine" problems all day long.
Famously, King Louis XVI had the problem and did not tell his doctors or have sex until several years after his marriage.

DO NOT BE EMBARRASSED. A urologist specializes in genital/urinary issues. They deal with penises all day long. I've worked in the medical field for 20 years in various positions and I"m telling you honestly, YOURS ISN"T THE FIRST HE"S SEEN. It's a medical condition. The same as if it were your heart or lungs. You wont be telling the office staff or the doctor anything they haven't heard before. Trust me on that. Why live in pain or not be able to enjoy sex? There's help available. You just have to put your big boy pants on and go to the doctor.

Steven.

There is no need to tell him you are gay or have had male encounters. He will not ask and if you choose to say that it interferes with sex, you don't not need to be more specific.
