in case you missed it, syfy is rebroadcasting the premiere episode tonight @ 7 central!

i saw the pilot on dvd a few months ago and i was really impressed.

i checked and yes, the pilot is on hulu. my guess is that they'll be posting the episodes. i'm also guessing that syfy will have them on their site as well like they did with bsg.
 
Eee. Jane Espenson is one of my very favorite writers so I must check this out as soon as possible. (My DVR went all batty on premiere night, so Hulu it shall be.)

So is this just a mini series, or a new show? I thought they already released this on dvd.

SO i read about it first and wasnt sure how it would be. I found it mostly confusing and/or annoying. The main girl is just so painfully annoying and ridiculous. The whole avatar thing is so confusing. She is an avatar that acts on its own and one that is her? Are the other people in the virtual world avatars of people or avatars acting on their own? Then the father seems to react as if her whole avatar thing is some technological innovation. It just doesnt make sense that this spoiled, selfish,brat, who's doing poorly in school is capable of creating something like this.

So far I think it's pretty good...but it could be better.

I understand though that it's just started and it takes time to flesh out the characters so I'll hold my full judgment on the show for at least a month or two to see how things unfold.
 
I don't know if I like it or not yet... I like the Bill Adama is in it, but I just like a bit more action and it's not an action show. I would like to see if the avatar everntually is the one to turn the cylons against the humans...but that's like a series finale thing and I don't know if I have it in me to pay attention.
