Carrie's brother spoke to reporters to announce that Carrie has been released from Intensive Care but will remain in the hospital.

2016 - what a year! And it ain't over yet.
 
Aw, her role in the recent revival of the saga was seminal.

She has had a hard time finding her way in life, with drugs and mental illness plaguing her, but I love her interviews and admire her work on screen.

I pray she recovers well.
 
Yeah, she died. Man, what a horrible year for celebrities.

Yesterday Carrie is under observation, then today the shocking announcement that she has died!

^ From what I read yesterday, she'd been in ICU since her admission to hospital. Yesterday, she was taken out of ICU, but no reason was given. Whether the doctors thought she was doing better or that there was nothing more they could do, I don't know.
 
Some news reports say her mother, Debbie Reynolds, may have had a stroke today.
