I feel like I'm in a horrible nightmare and I can't wake up.
TMZ reports that Debbie Reynolds was at her son's house making funeral arrangements for Carrie.

This is unbelievable.

National Public Radio, NPR, has just reported Debbie Reynolds has died ,
at age 84.
 
Oh wow....I wonder if it was the shock of losing her daughter?

I never know what to say to a parent when they have lost their child. It is so heartbreaking and devastating to some parents....very hard to even look in their eyes because you know there is nothing you can say....

May they both rest in peace :(
 
yeah she died ---had a stroke while planning her daughters funeral--wow this is epic
 
I don't know what the situation was with Debbie and Carrie regarding their relationship; I assume they were rather close. But it is not uncommon for an elderly person to die soon after losing the only person left that was really close to them. That person was the only thing that gave them strength and purpose to live day to day. But who knows, this could have just been a coincidence; I think the early reports are she had a stroke.
 
I posted in the Entertainment Forum a couple of links about her mother's career. I think it was stress, grief and mourning that killed her. I predicted yesterday that she wouldn't last long.
