Casual Nudity at home

Very rarely naked at home. Mainly, it's a comfort thing (my place is often chilly). During the summer, I might tromp around the house wearing my thin kimono, which is often untied. Don't wear anything underneath, so often my junk is on display (for the cats, I guess). I find this ideal because it still gives me a place to put my hands (in the kimono pockets or hooked in the obi), and puts a layer between my butt and the chairs/sofa - I sweat a lot.

I'm on vacation now, and I was noticing how I'm more likely to go naked longer while on vacation. Not for hours, but post-showers and what not. I think because it's warmer and more humid. But I've put in quite a bit of nude time in my hotel rooms, cruise ship staterooms, and even our private verandah on board the ship. Sorry - no vacation photos of that. :)

I don't see the point.

I do the logical naked times (showering, streaking and sex) and the fairly commonly accepted naked times (sleeping, swimming and suntanning). I just feel silly hanging about naked the entire time.

I've always thought that if you have to protect anything - yourself when cooking/cleaning; your furniture with a towel - then you probably shouldn't be naked while doing it. Even more bizarre are people hiking naked - hats, sunglasses, shoes, socks, backpacks, camera-bags, walking sticks/aids with no pants on. I don't see the point of getting your kit off to replace it with tons of other kit instead.

I don't see the point in wearing clothes when I'm sitting at my computer or reading a book, or especially not directly after a shower (putting clothes on a damp body isn't that great).

When I'm cooking I'm dressed, but for me it's a comfort thing when I'm relaxing. I don't want waistbands or sleeves or necklines bothering me.

gosh OZ maybe I better wing it on down and hold an unbiased inspection and maybe reproduce a full report for the edification of the sophomores EH?!oops!

yes, but wearing clothes means washing them wearing them out and using up precious water and all that environmental stuff..so naked is eco friendly and pc correct if you study the issues and ramifications there of.;)

flying,,,yes, lots but I let someone else drive I have attention deficit issues. used to dive with the fishes and chase sharks (also have some stupidity issues)enjoy roaming the seedier (nice terms) parts of cities and can still be a mouthy smart ass. How does that conflict with being a bare ass...I mean might as well be a total one right?

Swim with them..yes, Hell, in fact even before you were born I used to drive one stateside.

I thought about this after gym this evening. I dried off as usual and wasn't damp at all when I dressed. 2 hours later I'm sitting here fully clothed and still pretty comfortable.

I still don't get it, I'm afraid! I guess I'm just a casual nudist at best. For the record, nudity doesn't bother me; I'm not a prude or anything. I suppose I just believe it has a specific place as far as I'm concerned.

blackie, I so agree with you but change the word(s) to read unclothed or naked... Ah, perversity and diversity...true harbingers of thought:=D:

wee willie, I say you are a liar, liar, pants on fire..do you expect me to believe you dont whip(per) out and snap(per) either?

Bosh I say and next you will be prevaricating as to your given age as well, fie and fiddlesticks lad...the bloomof youth may no longer waft its sweet odours my way but the stench of senility has yet to permeate my chambers.

;):D;)

lets try this again boy...whippersnapper refers to the act of whipping ones penis out and snapping out an orgasm....all really good boys know how to do that and the best ones know how to help others do it too.

so, just how GOOD a boy are you?:=D:

At home usually wear a t shirt and briefs. Sleep the same and with socks on, without socks, for some reason, i couldn't sleep.

One of my ex-Bfs used to walk around nude a lot, even at home and he still Lived with his family. They weren't naturists but didn't have any hang ups about it. His mom would occasionally tell him to put on shorts if there were guests (like me) over. Me, I'll go naked when I am alone once in a while but prefer wearing something like underwear. With people, I only feel comfortable to walk around in front of my boyfrnd and maybe a couple of close friends.

Shirtless-Always
Just boxers- Mostly
Naked - When alone (significant other doesn't count)

I sleep naked, but I usually don't go fully nude around the house. I usually just wear sweatpants or athletic shorts (no underwear though), and maybe a t-shirt or hoodie depending on the temperature.

I see nudity as being something you do for sleeping (I always sleep naked - far more comfortable and healthy), swimming (I swim nude whenever I can), sex (obviously!) and sunbathing. Going nude around my house? Yeah, sometimes, usually when I get out of bed and I rarely wear anything in my bedroom - what's the point?

But naked around the house all the time? Nope - too cold, impractical and what if someone calls? I can't understand the point of sleeping with pyjamas or underwear on.

Swimming and sunbathing are definitely best done in the nude.:-) In fact, swimming trunks shouldn't be allowed at all.
