I'm well known for my moderate views on catholics....just kidding, they're fucking idiots, their upper echelons in particular. This further proves my theorythat the catholic fuck about morality, thier actions are everything to do with convincing thier ever-dwindeling flock that they are still relevant. They've been on some moral crusade or another since their inception, and if thats stops, whats left? A bunch of dowdy old child molesters and assorted sexual deviants in frocks, chanting a dead language.

Convinced that's what they're saying.
 
You assume they cared in the first place. They're concerned with power and influence, not morality. And the best way to be seen as powerful is to combat a percieved evil. They've chosen us. Do not try and justify their bullshit.
 
THe next time someone from the Catholic church testifys, I hope one of the victims of the child molesters that they FAILED to protect testifys as well.

Well, I hope to see the vatican in flames and the pope dangeling from a lamp post, but I don't see that one happening either.

In my local area...they bought time to run those spots during Ellen. I just laughed when I saw them wasting their money that way.
