I lost my virginity to a whore in Germany. $50 got me laid for the first time and I don't regret it. I was 18 and just out of high school. It was one of my more fond memories of Germany and the millitary. In short, a life experience.
 
While I sympathize with wanting your first time to be special, the fact is the first time is usually horrible. The problem is there's no way to get to the hundredth time without going through the first through 99th.

Why is it likely to be horrible? You won't be any good at it. These are skills only acquired through practice. Studying up on male sexual anatomy will help, but only to a certain extent.

And having your first time with another virgin is a recipe for disaster. Don't do that; find an experienced guy who you like and who likes you, and make sure he's experienced with virgins. And make sure he has no hangups about sex, because you WILL feel weird right afterwards, and you'll need to be able to talk to him about it.

Yes, that means he probably won't be the love of your life. That would be nice, but it probably won't work out that way. If you wait until you're in love and find someone else who's waited until HE's in love, then your relationship will fall apart because of the bad sex. Trust me on this.

Btw, being a "proud virgin" is silly. That's like me being proud of the fact that I've never been to Australia. I want to go eventually, but I want to go when I can afford to spend some time and really enjoy my visit there; in short, I want my first time to be special. But never having been to Australia is not a source of either pride or shame to me, and I think "virginity" (a silly concept if you ask me) should not be a source of either pride or shame to you, or anyone.
