Celebrities Mansions

John Travolta's pad. Most rich people just have a multi-car garage. They don't usually have a runway in their front yards:

Is that real or photoshopped?

It's real, his place is somewhere in central Florida.

Thanks.

I don't have a mansion or a couple of jets in my driveway, just an old Camry and a newer Grand Prix but at least they run fine and they're paid for.

It's her money and she can spend it however she wants, of course, but that fountain behind Oprah's house is ridiculous.

Also, I'd like to know the bed-to-bath ratio in John's planes.

I just can't believe some of these homes, can't even realize living in one. Damn I must be POOR!

So the web site is for a proposed home in Glendale. Interesting. Who ever is living over there, make sure to try the polish restaurant over there...Polka...little hole in the wall...polish home cooking.

/\ That's what I was thinking. Maybe K-Fed lives there.

"I'm sure there's a lot of "Cruise has 9 bedrooms. I have 11!!" going on."

There's a lot of the "me too" and competition going on with celebrities and the nouveau riche. "Oh, Trump bought a 50 foot yacht and mine's only 30 feet?" It's not all relative- it's excessive.

I grew up in a wealthy neighborhood and even I'm tired of all the keeping up with the Jones' and excess. I'm not saying everyone should live in a tent but it's good to be practical when it comes to real estate and big expenses, especially in this economy.

Indeed. I do enjoy reading about the celebrity foreclosures and bankruptcies.
