The cast lineup for NBC's "The Celebrity Apprentice," hosted by Donald Trump, has been announced.

There are 2 gay male contestants this season -- they are Clay Aiken and George Takei.

I don't think there's ever been an "Apprentice" season where they had 2 gay men as contestants at one time.

Plus, since everyone loved "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star NeNe Leakes last season, they have brought the table flipper herself -- Teresa Guidice from "Real Housewives of New Jersey" to stir up some drama on the show.

There is nothing 'real' about those shows. They are all contrived and, if not scripted, they are at least guided and prompted by the producers. It's all about the drama and very little about the entertainment. They are all phoneys performing for the camera. I seriously doubt that they act like that in 'reality'.

Besides, I can't stand to look at Trump's scrunched-up piggy face even in the promos or his Brick commercials.

You may not like Donald Trump personally.

But this show is for charity. Each celebrity contestant is eligible to win money for their charity. During one episode last year, they raised $600,000 and $1 million for two charities. And of course, the charities get free publicity during the show.

In previous seasons, Cyndi Lauper, a very outspoken singer & LGBT advocate, represented an LGBT organization, and LaToya Jackson last season won money for the AIDS Project Los Angeles.

I have a hunch that Clay Aiken or George Takei, or both, will represent an LGBT-related non-profit or charitable organization.

Sometimes, the end justifies the means.

I don't normally watch the Apprentice, but this one looks interesting. Hopefully George Takei will teach Clay Aiken to loosen up a bit. He's been a bit of a catty bitch since coming out.

I've seen the previous shows, but I will be passing this time. After Trump's horrible political behavior in the past year, I am not going to contribute to his ratings that he desperately craves.

Not only are there the two gay men, but some big lgbt supporters in Dee Snider and Lisa Lampenelli as well(and a minor one in Victoria Gotti). On the flipside, there's that asshat Adam Corrola.

That stated, as with ALL Trump shows, I won't be tuning in.

This is the main reason why I dropped it a couple seasons ago... Two hours every single damn time is just too much and it gets boring.
The other main reason is the celebrity crap. I MUCH MUCH MUCH prefer a regular season with normal people who actually have something to prove. Yeah, I get the charity is great and everything, and kudos to Trump for giving millions to these charities, but it just never seems real enough with the celebrities.

Watched it with and without Celebrities. I found I didn't give a damn about the regular joe's but loved watching celebrities outside their comfort zones. No assistants, no nothing but their wits, their wile and their tempers.
