I honestly can't agree with this statement either. In certain cases I would state that there is too much freedom in allowing members to say what they think and in many cases the freedom of expression has become inacceptable.

Look, all kidding aside, JUB moderators are just like the rest of you.. they're people who were members and love what JUB is enough to donate their own private time to help keep things at least kinda sane here.

If someone is on here being a complete dick, they have to try to dial that back... JUB will be chaos and no fun for anyone if they don't step in and keep the peace a bit.

You can't just post anything in the porn forum for a few reasons.. porn has some very special laws and they can get in a lot of trouble for breaking them.

Any pics that look like the model is too young.. gotta go.. any pics that could be considered obscene... gotta go.

JUB also needs to pay the bills. This means that if you're posting links to outside sites that are there to make money and JUB isn't get cut in... those have to go too.

If you click my signature and join Fratpad or Fratmen, JUB gets a cut of that action. I stopped posting a while back because of what I felt was my persona here becoming a distraction from Fratmen... not what I signed up for. I came back because quite honestly, JUB and Fratmen are in business and it makes good business sense for us to have our stuff shown... the bills gotta be paid somehow. I don't necessarily like how "Soilwork" has gotten bigger than Fratmen at times or how Jasun can get lost in the whole thing, but hey.. it's the nature of the beast.

JUB's status as the biggest gay porn forum in the world is VERY hard-earned and they have to protect themselves. If you come here to just cause trouble they're going to clamp down on that. If you come here to spam it, they're going to clamp down on that, too. It's in everyone's best interest to keep things pleasant around here.

Is there free speech here? no. There isn't. You go to Walmart and try picking fights, being a jerk and disrupting people's day and see how long you last... you go to McDonald's and start yelling about how bad their food is and how it's better somewhere else.. see how long you last.

JUB isn't here as a service to the community, it's here to turn a profit and one of the side-effects of that is this great forum where yes.. gay guys can come and chat and talk about issues.. but that doesn't mean that you can just go off on someone.
