What kind of websites do you visit on a daily basis? I mostly make use of Reddit for news, and other 'current' affairs internet stuff, but it's getting kind of dull. The news selection is too Jon Stewart'esque, the discussion pages are too vast to even want to open -- 2000+ reactions? The memes are also tiresome, and the photo'fuck' threads are getting disappointing. The funny section is getting stale and redundant.

Digg isn't much better, and the new lay-out is terrible. But not quite as terrible as the new standard lay-out for professional blogs like Gizmodo/Kotaku/IO9. Cured me really fast of my addiction to these websites.

So, what are your regular internet routines? Do you make use of any social news websites?

I go on here, IMDB, Netflix, and Fire Emblem (a video game series) websites. I usually get my news from the TV.

I also really love www.tvtropes.org, but that can get addictive and can waste a lot of time so I try not to visit it too often.

Reddit, facebook, cnn, tmz, nytimes, city-data, ksl, kob, and jub are sites I visit regularly. It does get boring after awhile. I still find reddit to be awesome and hilarious.

Everyday I always check my Hotmail, Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, and the blog for one of my psych classes. I try to go on JUB everyday but some days of the week I am just too busy.

I don't like news aggregators or feeds.

For news, mostly economist.com, news.bbc.co.uk, globeandmail.com, slate.com, lemonde.fr. By then i've covered a fairly wide range and i start seeing the odd repeated story.
