I would love to be able to pass along some of the "wisdom" I have gained. However, there seems to be a natural barrier in being able to get younger guys to fully understand, and that's if you can get them to listen in the first place. I have nephews in their late teens and early 20s. Though I have to be careful what I talk to them about, there have been some general things that I get a blank stare over. That also happens with guys I'm not related to. On the flip side, they've managed to teach me about a few things that are prevalent today.

Thing is, there is a lot of stuff that can't be fully understood until you have experienced it yourself. I can tell you all I know about traveling to a specific place, but until you've gone there yourself, you can't appreciate it to the fullest. Even then, your experiences will not be the same as mine. All of us have our own, unique, perspectives. My experiences at their ages happened in a different world!

However, getting those things out of my head, and into someone else's, can sometimes be quite challenging, and frustrating.
