Chinese Democracy - New Studio versions

OK. You're 22 and I 40. Maybe this fact explains "our" possible differences... ;)

I really don't like "Better" and "I.R.S." I think they are over-produced. There's not a band feeling in those songs, they look as studio experimenting work. "There Was A Time" is just a bit the same thing... :(

However, and I don't know why, I really like "Chinese Democracy" and "The Blues". "Madagascar" is too epic for me but it's not bad. :-)

Guns N' Roses ARE one of the bands of my life. "Appetite For Destruction", "Lies", "Uses Your Illusion I & II" and even "The Spaghetti Incident?" are fantastic albums at the same level as the classic recordings of legends like Led Zeppelin, Queen or Pink Floyd just to name a few. They are part of rock history but the band died in the mid 90's when Izzy, Slash and Duff left the band. "Chinese Democracy" is just the solo career of Mighty Axl.
 
WOW you are bitter! LOL :)

I know it's not the same without Slash, Duff and Izzy, but the "new" GNR are still better than most of the so-called "rock bands" out there right now. Andy they're all that's left from the good old days (kinda), even though GNR is just Axl with a few puppets on strings anymore. My GNR favorites are and always will be UYI 1+2. (well, the cover album sucked lol)

I dunno man. Slash has to be there for it to be G N' R. As far as I'm concerned it's Axel Rose and a cover band unless they all get back together.

I'm 21 by the way lol. I've always been a metal head though.
 
From what I've heard, the album should kick ass. Let's just hope that the studio release doesn't require ********* to produce....
