Yeah, she's been doing this a lot lately. She does have a really good voice though. She just needs to learn how to control it better, and take care of it more.

Gosh leave her alone. Maybe she just does that the same way everytime. Like there are some words I say the same exact way everytime I say them.

I saw her in concert. I was right next to the stage. She was
3 feet in front of me. I could hear her singing over the mic. She sounds awesome live.

And who ever sits there and makes up them ridiculous videos for youtube like that needs to get a life. Theres way more important things in life then making videos to make fun of people.

What? This thread had nothing to do with Britney. I really don't care how Blackout does, she's already rich anyways. I liked maybe 4 or 5 songs from that album.

I never cared about awards, Grammys and Emmys. That's why I was always telling you and the other 2 people you talk to in the Desperate Housewives thread that who cares who wins what awards but some how, the thread aways returns to award talk.

Of course you'd be offended by this thread because you don't want to admit that your idol lypsyncs.

This thread has as much to do with Britney as plastic surgery has to do with Janice Dickinson.

Were you not such an avid Britney stan, you wouldn't be so determined to "expose" Christina's lip syncing. I'm sure you came in your shorts when you found the video. Yup, she lip syncs. Just like Mariah has, Celine has, Beyonce has, and many others. The difference between what they do, and what Britney does however, is the fact that if you turn the vocal track off, they can actually blow. A real sound actually does come out of their mouths--on pitch and in tune.

And who said anything about awards? I sure as hell didn't. Is that a Freudian slip? Mad Christina just got two Grammy noms?

You didn't mention awards but you talked about flopping on the charts. Who cares if Christina is considered (don't know why) as one of the best singers if her voice is irritating.

That doesn't make sense. Christina is considered one of the best singers by those who DON'T find her voice irritating.

The reason I created this thread was because whenever a pop singer is exposed of lip syncing like Ashlee, Britney, other singers.... everyone on her says "Christina would never do that" or "One of the only singers left with talent is Christina". That video proves she does the same thing as all those other pop stars, lip sync. Just like Rihanna sounds the same on every performance and probably lip syncs. The point of this thread is that lip syncing is so looked down on at JUB but all the pop stars do it. Rock bands and rappers sound different everytime and it's clear when they make mistakes because they don't lip sync. They don't sound as good as the album everytime but at least it's live. Some how people believe singers like Christina pull it off every performance and are at a higher level then other popstars. Britney may relate to this thread but she wasn't even in my mind when I started it.

Why would I be offended? If anyone else had started the thread I wouldn't have cared. I just find it funny that someone who's a fan of someone with zero singing talent is criticizing real singers for lip syncing one note.

In live sound they also use consoles, outboard gear and types of eq'ing and filtering.

I dont see why she can't sing the exact same as she did on the album. Just to record a song takes hours and hours! However, a lot of people lipsynch. who doesnt? but i doubt she was lip synching each time!

It's really bad for someone to sing live all the time. It's just not healthy. however, she does sing live as much as she can.

Why would it be only one note? If she lip syncs then she lip syncs the whole song. No one records just one note and plays it on a record. The video only showed that section of the song again and again to compare it. Sorry, sweetie. If you watch the actual performance you can tell only the one note is lipped.

I didn't say she WAS the best singer of her generation, I said she's considered to be, and by many people including Justin Timberlake. She's gotten praise from Patti LaBelle, Herbie Hancock, Etta James, Andrea Boccelli and countless other amazing talented artists.

It doesn't matter how many people like her voice, it doesn't change the fact that her voice sucks. All it means is that lots of people like listening to shitty voices like hers.
