Christina's performance in the Grammy's

I was completely breathless, i mean i know that that girl can sing, but that girl blew the roof off of that place that even some of the veterans of the biz could not have done. That was a forever legendary performace, and i also have to say that Mary J's performance was phenomeonal as well:)

Couldn't agree with you more...It was the highlight of the whole program as far as I am concerned...STANDING:=D::=D::=D::=D::=D::=D::=D::=D::=D::=D::=D::=D::=D::=D::=D::=D::=D::=D:

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!! boring, i do love her but is it me but i just find her boring now she has an amzing voice and amazing range but there is something so 'samish' about the way she delivers songs.

for me the dixie chicks stole the night not just with awards but heartfelt performance!

^^^^LOL! Damn her "Stripped" outfits were so horrendous! The hair, make up & wardrobe were straight out the Addams Family! I'm glad she now looks like an old school Hollywood siren-go Baby Jane!

Post #8 is one, sad, angry individual. Then there's the quote from the "critic". What a way to make a living; criticizing other people's work. I don't usually watch award shows. However, I did catch Christina's performance. I may be a "senior citizen" but I still think I can tell if someone has talent. Christina has talent! Her voice is one of the best finely tuned instruments around today. What did you guys think about Shakira? That girl got my attention! Great voice, hot body, and a terrific dancer. I shouldn't get so worked up. I might have a heart attack at my age.

^Yes, he is very angry. He hates Christina Aguilera but he posts in every single thread about her just so he can say something negative.

I just got finished watching the youtube clip from Christina's grammy performance and I just have one word AMAZING! In all honesty I think James Brown would have given her a standing ovation for that. Bravo.

A side note, itunes just released Mary J. Blige's grammy performance it would be great if they did the same for Christina's performance.

...*blinks*...dare you put Dixie Chicks over Christina?

I think you dared to.

Seriously. The group...yeah...they're good....but no...not better than Christina. I can't begin to imagine how an album that really didn't do much in the music industry manages to steal away with so many Grammy's over other, more deserving albums and artists.

And Christina doesn't sing the same in every song or performance. Listen to her albums...watch her shows...she delivers a precise, perfect beautiful uniqueness every time she performs. From the hard-hitting "Ain't No Other Man" to the beautiful, soft "Save me from Myself", she really covers the range of not only vocals, but of quality and dynamics as well. There's nothing 'samish' about Christina...

I can't even see Dixie Chicks being talked about 2 days after the show...much less a week...or a month...or next year...

Christina definitely stole the show. I don't even remember the Dixie Chicks' performance. It was slightly boring to be honest. Not very heartfelt in my opinion...just stand and deliver and be merry because they were having a winning night...

I was actually hoping the Dixie Chicks would make a moment for themselves with that performance, especially with an epic song like that...but I don't think they really delivered.

You can tell Natalie was trying hard, but she just didn't do it. I dunno, I wanted her to get more into it. Pull a Mary J. Blige or something, lol.

Exactly. They weren't into it.

In fact, their speeches made me want to turn the channel or throw a remote at them.

"WE GET IT! Bush really wasn't that great! SHUT UP ABOUT IT! You're rewarded for music!" (So they say) "now talk about who you really need to thank."

damn can't believe i missed the grammy's and that awesome performance by my girl.
