Our tree isn't up... yet. However, since the weather is so nice here today, we did throw a little Christmas about the front of our home. Nothing major... we live in a secluded area and we're the only ones who see it!

I'm anxious to get the inside decorated... we bought a 10' pre-lit tree for our new house... I can't wait for the cat to tip the fucker over! :xmas:

i noticed some houses in the neighborhood have turned on their lights. this friday evening the city will flip on the lights all up and down the riverwalk. its always a pretty sight. :)

Thanksgiving, potentially one of the best holidays ever invented. Unfortunately more each year, the simple joy of being thankful for being able to feast is getting overshadowed by more and more early Christmas preparations. Apparently the month-long Christmas holiday season is not long enough that it has to invade the brief time of other noble holidays.

I put my Christmas lights up earlier this week because it was 70 degrees out and I ain't puttin no lights up in cold-ass 50 degree weather!!! :grrr:

Hehehe this weekend marks the start of Christmas decoration assembly in our house and I'm pumped! (!) :gogirl:
 
Christmas usually starts the day after Thanksgiving for my family.

Sadly it would be stupid to put up anything because we'll be moving by the end of the year. :(
