Me too....I do a lot of online shopping. I have never liked Toys R Us...as an adult...anyways...it just looks like a big pile of junk to me.
 
Strange that though I have no loved ones to share Christmas with I always celebrate it with decorations and a festive meal.

Working for a family it is on my shoulders that all the organisation falls and yes I adore doing it all. Christmas in this French villa is one of decorations and flowers everywhere, magnificently decorated tables and a lot of hard work for me.

Even so I don't even start planning until November. Some things should be slightly spontaneous and involve a last minute rush. In my opinion Christmas is one such time.
 
I used to love to spend Christmas with my best friend. He was like a little kid. I used to buy him just about anything that he wanted. That was too much fun! We would decorate the house with all kinds of stuff: a big fancy tree in the living room, and a small tree with cartoon figures in the family room. :)
 
I do love the Christmas season....

I buy gifts and suck all year long. I find it is easier on the budget.
 
My mom is the only person I buy for... cuz I'm dirt poor
 
I shop all year long, but rely heavily on beautiful books, (novels and coffee table books), garden ornaments and home made goodies (that part I do nearer the holy day).
Great time of year, although it is important to have the right outlook towards all things Christian, and all things secular. (*8*)
