We put our tree up yesterday before our family Thanksgiving dinner.

Pretty tree :luv:

I’m not going to try it this year. I don’t think it would last with the cats

Well done.

We picked our tree a few weeks ago and it will be cut and delivered around the 16th of December.

We pick up about 200 feet of cedar garland this Saturday for throughout the house...so that is my first job!

Thanks Guys. The tree itself is artificial from Balsam Hill. :santa:

\You need to out your tree up Alistair. Just make sure all the ornaments are unbreakable.

If any of you put a tree up, please feel free to post it here.

Hopefully ours will be up Friday but my dad might have to work and I can't put it up as I have to stay off my foot!

Looks great Billy.

Still not sure if we are putting one up.

That's a fantastic tree BillyT, you have excellent taste in decorating. Makes me want to get to work on mine.

Very nice tree BillyT.

The first of my trees went up around the beginning of the month  but...
...I only got the lights on them connected up this week.
(need that amount time to get get everything done (as its done a little bit at a time). beginning of the month is too early to have the lights turned on (except ofcourse while I'm actually putting them in the trees))

Your tree is warm and cheery. Kudos to you both for your dedication.

I'm thinking I may not raise mine this year. I'll be visiting family from Christmas Day until that next week, so it feels like I would be going to a LOT of work to raise the 12 ft. one with the ladder and all.

But, since I'm a diehard traditionalist, I may put up the 7-ft. fiber optic filled fir, just so I can say I kept the season. Actually, just so I can keep the season. ;)

(*8*) Great tree! Love the Santa, never saw that before.

I haven't had a tree in years as no one, except repairmen, ever comes by the house.

I am going to put up my little tree I have this year just because I bought someone one gift. Figured I need the tree up if I am gifting something.

An idea for those with lots of patience.
