So, today on iHorror they shared the video that was uploaded to YouTube for the first episode of Chucky. As many of you are probably away they brought it to the small screen as a television show. I just finished watching it and was quite pleasantly surprised at how well they did. Have any of the rest of you seen it yet? If so what was your take?

I won't really speak on it much, because, well, spoilers suck, but there was a lot in it that I really greatly enjoyed. A lot of relationship dynamics, tension, and relatable issues were brought up for me personally. Anyone else feel that way at all?

I was so excited when I discovered they were making a series (huge fan of most of the movies) and the premiere episode was very promising. I liked that the main character was an eccentric outcast that didn't fall prey to all the stereotypical tropes that come along with that. I've always been curious to know what led Chucky to become the deranged serial killer we've come to know so I'm glad we'll be getting the backstory of his childhood.

I saw it when it aired it looked good it would of been nice if they used the original Chucky than it would have been cool to seen. I'll keep watching it to see how it goes from there

You mean the actual doll from the original movie?

Definitely off to a good start. Chucky might be a serial killer but he accepts Queer people lol.

I know it's horrible to say, but I wouldn't have batted an eyelash if Chucky had offed the female bully. It takes a special brand of fucked up to openly mock the death of someone's parent whether said parent was an abusive alcoholic asshole or not.

Second episode was good and I'll gladly take Chucky as a queer ally, lol.

Also agreed the bully is an asshole and what she did was incredibly mean, can't wait to see when Chucky gets to her.

It seems this Chucky knows what he wants to do

I bet Jake will be the one to save her once his conscious kicks in again like it did on the last episode. If the threat of a homicidal doll doesn't bring about an attitude adjustment, I don't know what will.

I like it so far. Only 2 episodes in.

Have you caught up to the latest episode yet?

I have to say the kissing scene between Jake and Devon was well done. No awkwardness or shame. Just natural.

It's no wonder Lexy's such a bully. She gets it from her bitchy mother.

I watched the five minute BTS clip after last night's episode and I was surprised to discover Brad Dourif's (voice of Chucky) daughter Fiona played young Chucky in the flashbacks. She looked so much like him that it was eerie. I've never seen more than a few clips of Curse of Chucky so I'm not up to speed with the possession stuff, but it's interesting.

I didn't know the guy who's voice of Chucky had a daughter she's in Curse of Chucky and in the series too plays a good role and also Jennifer Tilly is in the series

Where'd everybody go? Let's chat about the finale. Good? Bad? Meh?
