I was cut at 17. It should have been done closer to birth to repair a hypospadias. My foreskin was more like a flap than a turtleneck. I didn't even know what cut / uncut was until I was 12, and I didn't know I was uncut until 14 and finally saw a normal uncut dick at 16, which made me realize try to get it fixed. The urologist (if you can afford it go to a plastic surgeon, not a urologist - but I was 17 and my parents deemed this outside of their financial responsibility, leaving me with a $1200 bill after insurance) used my foreskin as a graft to fix the hypospadias, moving my pee hole up about an 1" from my shaft to my head.
What does a 17yo do when he gets home from being circumfixed? First, he checks out the mass of bandages that need to be changed. Then, since Vicodin wasn't invented yet, he takes some codeine and unwraps it to see something swollen up almost the size of a coke can. Seeing this is incredibly arousing so he justifies jerking off - the erections are so painful, rubbing one out should decrease the frequency and potency. But the need to pee was becoming impossible to put off any longer. He sits down on the toilet, the thought or urine passing through the open wound of his not even 6 hour old urethra makes him unsteady. He's alone at home, so the screams that go on for almost ten minutes, breaking often to get oxygen and eventually the screaming stops, not abruptly as before, but slowly the volume decreases, yet the intensity remains. He slumps over with muffled sobs escaping, the air creating bubbles in the snot and tears running over his nose and mouth.
Next comes forensic analysis. Once the blood and cum is cleaned up, the stiches that were not torn out are inspected to see if repair is possible. 4 hours, 12 codeine, and several swigs of whatever was in front in the parents alcohol cabinet later, the boy scout sewing kid is placed in the trash, blood, pieces of stiches, and what seemed like flesh but likely were just gauze, had ruined the thread. The needles were also lost, bending them into quarter moons was permanent.
A year later, I got my second 'circumcision'. There was still some foreskin left and my pee hole was just where the head and shaft meet. No one had set my expectations - getting cut as an adult means you will never heal like a child does. The second operation produced a better result, but there are obvious scars and what look like (as stated by a previous poster) skin tags.
It took about 10 years to have any noticeable sensitivity decrease. The main issue (as a professional in mens masturbation) with sensitivity is not being cut, its how guys JO. Too much pressure and friction for 5-10min each time, 5-20 times a week for a decade is around a solid month with no sleep. Use a light grip, use lube at least 25% of the time, but most importantly vary it up!
For people discussing the size of scars / foreskin. I can't find it now, but there was a set of photos where someone took a marker around the tip of an foreskin while flaccid, then took photos as he got erect. It is amazing how far back it goes.
Awesome thread, I wish I saw this back when it started
