Clark County Covention FLIPS from Clinton To Sanders, Sanders has WON NEVADA!

This is the same kind of naive thinking that has destroyed Democrat hopes in other elections.

Swiftboating John Kerry...or the take-down of Dukakis will look like amateur hour next to the campaign that the GOP already has designed against Sanders. One of my Republican friends who is definitely a GOP insider indicates that they are just champing at the bit for Sanders to win. They figure it won't matter at that point how bad their candidate is...they will fill everything with noise about the evils of socialism and Bernie's history as an Independent opportunist.

This is where the Kochs plan on spending their money because he's going right after them.

Dead on....

...and the other thing...these ads will work against at least a fraction of the center/slightly left of center Dems as well. His fans now are doing him no favors...they have managed to define the man... for me anyway..and it isn't good.

Why? I am a fucking far left liberal socialist..so if they can define him for me....imagine the damage they are doing to people who aren't far left socialists.

The ads will also work on a fraction of his fans who have unknowingly formed alliances with the very worst of Republicans who will turn into Bernie haters if he ever gets the nomination...and explaining "why" to the other actual fans. Some of them will buy it. Why? They can't even acknowledge the actual tactics that Republicans are going to use...like where were they exactly???? How can anyone not notice...or know what is coming?

This "no one likes Hillary" shit...19 years as the #1 most admired women on earth....unprecedented...and they just think they can lie and lie...while complaining about alleged lies...so obviously lying really isn't an issue for the people who are doing it ...

people who say republicans have some kind of advantage over sanders just refuse to look at polling data. its pretty strange.

sanders has been using the socialist label for a long time, his numbers would have suffered by now if clinton talking points were true.

and what is new about republicans dissing on liberals? that is certainly not new, Hillary people dont even show up to vote somehow equate sanders with weakness? pathetic use of logic.

if anyone has been ignorant of how things work in the democratic party its Hillary Clinton, shes tried to embrace Obama but has had very different positions than him over the years.

Hillary Clinton if running against Obama this year would be saying the same thing about Obamacare that shes saying about Sanders proposals.

Hillary people can learn something, democrats dont lose because of low voter turnout, they lose because they have refused to be actual liberals when elected. taking the cynics position, that of Hillary Clinton's entire campaign has been to act as if liberals dont matter in elections, and to set expectations as low as possible. that is the only thing you can do as the establishment candidate?? it doesn't say much for Clinton's confidence in democrats ideas.

Clinton people can bash her opponents all they want, the public and the polling simply don't reflect their warped mindset.

To repeat the same thing over and over is not only monotonous; it is to be controlled by, rather than to control what you write.

So the somewhat but not really NEW excuse for HRC > Bernie by the fans here is that the Repubs will rip Bernie to shreads the way they did Dukakis (how long ago was that ???) and Kerry

As if Bernie is anything like them

He's certainly nothing like Kerry - he's the opposite

Kerry was doomed because he was unwilling or unable or both to "defend" his war record - he was unfairly treated but politics is a dirty business - had he been more adept or perhaps less aloof/more personable during the campaign it might not have gone down the same way

Bernie is not that guy

the idea that an attack against all has the same impact is pretty narrow minded

it's very narrow minded

it's not a good reason

He's an unknown politician with no name recognition, without major achievements and promoting ideas even moderates aren't unanimously behind. That's a pretty big difference from Hillary

Simply untrue. He wrote huge parts of Obamacare. He reformed the VA. He led the effort against the Clinton/Bush war in Iraq.

what the hell..if you dont believe any of that look at the polls showing even republican support single payer while hillary has been silent on the issue, saying its 'unrealistic'

Hillary voters can even bother to show up. Hillary did worse than polls suggested in Wisconsin, a lot worse. And she just lost Nevada. New York will be competitive, if she loses there its over for Clinton.

Kerry voted to invade Iraq, so did Hillary.

Nobody who has voted to invade Iraq that has won their party's nomination has won general election. They all lost. Kerry lost. McCain lost.

Obama never voted on Iraq, Romney never voted on Iraq (which is why he won his partys nomination)

If Trump wins the streak of anti-war candidates winning will continue.

Biden voted to go into Iraq.

More germane to the thread topic.....
