I love those epic, big budget mini-series from the 70's and 80's - thankfully most titles have been released on dvd.
Which one was your favourite?

The first of them was Rich Man, Poor Man. I remember this being quite the sensation when it was first on. All we could talk about in school on Tuesday mornings

my mom had them all and got me to watch with her as I grew up- 6 Wives of Henry VIII, Elizabeth R, I, Claudius, Roots, The Thorn Birds and The Winds of War

Roots, War & Remembrance, Shogun, North and South, Lonesome Dove, Pride & Prejudice, Jesus of Nazareth

I did really like "Rich Man, Poor Man" and Roots but a really good one as I recall was "Scruples" with Lindsey Wagner and Barry Bostwick even a very young Kim Catrall was in it. Bought the dvd not long ago and planning on indulging on it sometime soon.

I'd like to see 'Lace' again, starring Phoebe Cates.

I only ever saw one or two episodes of Australian mini series Return To Eden, but I think it looked like my kinda thing.
