The Foundation has used a new form of job evaluation to calculate the total contribution various jobs make to society, including for the first time the impact on communities and environment.

The research, carried out by think tank the New Economics Foundation, says hospital cleaners create £10 of value for every £1 they are paid.

It claims bankers are a drain on the country because of the damage they caused to the global economy.

They reportedly destroy £7 of value for every £1 they earn.

All communist propaganda, no doubt!

...but rather interesting. And probably what common sense might dictate anyway.
Cool to see. And it's going to my FB :)

Really, and I thought drinking guiness was a sentence imposed upon people who violated drinking laws regarding under consumption of alcoholic beverages of all types and for the more serious violation of violating the sanctity of fine scotches and brandies with anyhing but the clean glass or snifter they were used for imbibing...dumb fucking yank, wot do I know eh?

On the subject of teachers, my best warrented about 37.50 per 20 min in short bursts and protected /saved many a fair maidenhead of both front and rear predilection

(!w!):rotflmao::rotflmao:Damn, at times I'm too bloody funny even for me:rotflmao::rotflmao:(!w!)

... And probably what common sense might dictate anyway. ...

That's true. In that sense, regarding tax accountants, I certainly always felt the same way that their research suggests.

And tax accountants damage the country by devising schemes to cut the amount of money available to the government, the research suggests. ... Tax accountants are said to destroy £47 in value for every £1 generated

Can i just point out to Sixthson that i do actually work, in the police department and i dont give random blowjobs out.

I havent even been with a guy 0.0

It was a joke. Chill out.

You'll find no disagreement here. There's a reason so many cultures through the ages have viewed merchants, bankers and moneylenders as predators and parasites--because for the most part they are.

Plus, there is strong evidence that Mr Bo doesn't give them out he makes a few extra quid towards retirement that way...and the ale is his breath freshner LOL

so fire, does that mean you grow your own food (or steal it) keep your money in an old sock and eschew loans? just curious.

Do we want to even begin discussing how much teachers are worth to society compared to how much they are paid?

Good times. ..|

Experiernced teachers actually make pretty good money.....any where from $60k to over six figures. And they normally have very good benefits. However, in California, with the state cuts, there is heavy pressure right now to try and cut pay and benefits.

I think food producers are the most important.

Without them all the city people will starve to death !!!

Telstra,

And that would be such a bad thing?

^ Hey! I live in the city

I wonder how much people who work in the army/navy/air force are worth!

I wouldn't even want to begin to fathom how much my job contributes to society... I'd be too scared that it was incurring societal debt!
