Well, this thread here was and still is a question addressed to Dan.

I suppose, he'll find it nice that there's a question waiting for him, and I hope it'll make him return sooner.

There is not the faintest need to touch this thread.

On the other hand, Cormac, there are many other quidam's threads and posts, that are particularly pitiful. If you, Cormac, somehow want to be quidam's advocate, then address it concretely, please.

I am also impressed that someone bothered to gather up all the posts from multiple threads and quarantine them in one thread.

I see though, that this process has also resulted in a few threads in CE&P being given a D&C in order to remove the off-topic celebrity worship dross that partly resulted in the departure of Dan. To which we all say 'Thank You'.

I don't think the mod added any pink font. It was most likely just a lark the guys were doing over in F&G where the other posts came from.
