Another shooting that might've been prevented if mental evaluations were required before purchasing a gun. Walmart shooter bought his that morning. Alright ammosexuals, time to do your song and dance. "Thoughts+prayers but YA AINT TAKIN MAH GUHNZ!"

I thought Walmart had everything, but searching didn't turn up any 9mm pistols. They don't carry breaded okra either :(
 
They do sell guns at some Wal-Marts, but I'm not sure if they put them on sales with a Blue Light Special.

It appears that the gunman shot himself when the police caught up with him. He was 72 years old and sounds to have been of East Asian ancestry, which should give the profilers something to think about.

An update. Aldrich pleaded guilty and has been sentenced to life imprisonment. Apparently he "identifies as non-binary and asked in court on Monday to be identified by the gender-neutral honorific Mx". Presumably he'll be going to a male prison.
