Why don't we see this in America? Soldiers standing naked in front of the brass in the Pentagon? I guess we're a bunch of prudes. And there are a ton of American war and military movies.Why don't we the movies with hundreds of naked recruits getting their physicals, with someone yelling, "Roll your foreskin back, Private!"?

I think you may have missed the whimsical nature with which my remark was intended. In the original post, only the first photo showed a naked recruit in front of the Nazi officers, with no foreskin check involved. The second photo apparently involved a German television movie, the scene which was to have taken place in 1873, a full couple of generations before Hitler's time. BTW, I bet it was a lot of fun filming a roomful of hot naked young German lads! And yes, most American men are cut, but they still get inspected when going into the military. Where are the American movies of naked Civil War recruits, and WWII movies of soldiers being checked out in front of, say, Gen. Eisenhower? In reality, he probably wouldn't have been involved at that level, but in movies you can show anything you want.
