From my experience with CMNM situations (which is probably pretty limited), the thrill comes with being the only one naked (I've never been in a scenario where there were multiple people naked with one or more clothed) and being the focus of that attention from the clothed person. It's all sexually exciting but it doesn't necessarily have to be sexual in practice. It could just be me showing off, or me being naked and doing whatever (cleaning, sitting next to the clothed person, etc) and it may or may not lead to me being played with (or playing with myself) in the presence of the clothed person. It depends on the scenario as it's laid out beforehand though. My preference comes with the clothed person remaining clothed, but sometimes the moment calls for them to also get naked and it's usually okay ;)
