I'm a very "out" gay man, and I am republican. Political parties have nothing to do with this. This is a crime against the gay community in my mind.
Foley has personally slapped the gay community with his latest disclosure of being gay. As long as well known public figures such as priests, teachers, politicians that are accused of sexual advances/crimes on children....the word "pedophile" will forever be linked to the word "gay". I am disgusted and embarrassed to have anything in common with this man.
